Psychoneuroendocrinology publishes papers dealing with the interrelated disciplines of psychology, neurobiology, endocrinology, immunology, neurology, and psychiatry, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary studies aiming at integrating these disciplines in terms of either basic research or clinical implications. One of the main goals is to understand how a variety of psychobiological factors interact in the expression of the stress response as it relates to the development and/or maintenance of neuropsychiatric illnesses. The journal is international and comprises original research papers, reviews of an area of the literature, or at an appropriate stage in the development of the author's own work, commentaries in areas of current interest, short communications and book reviews. Psychosocial Intervention is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes papers in all areas relevant to psychosocial intervention at the individual, family, social networks, organization, community, and population levels. The Journal emphasizes an evidence-based perspective and welcomes papers reporting original basic and applied research, program evaluation, and intervention results. The journal will also feature integrative reviews, and specialized papers on theoretical advances and methodological issues. Psychosocial Intervention is committed to advance knowledge, and to provide scientific evidence informing psychosocial interventions tackling social and community problems, and promoting social welfare and quality of life. Psychosocial Intervention welcomes contributions from all areas of psychology and allied disciplines, such as sociology, social work, social epidemiology, and public health. Psychosocial Intervention aims to be international in scope, and will publish papers both in Spanish and English.

Public Health is an international, multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal. It publishes original papers, reviews and short reports on all aspects of the science, philosophy, and practice of public health.It is aimed at all public health practitioners and researchers and those who manage and deliver public health services and systems. Pulmonary Pharmacology and Therapeutics (formerly Pulmonary Pharmacology) is concerned with lung pharmacology from molecular to clinical aspects. The subject matter encompasses the major diseases of the lung including asthma, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary circulation, ARDS, carcinoma, bronchitis, emphysema and drug delivery. Laboratory and clinical research on man and animals will be considered including studies related to chemotherapy of cancer, tuberculosis and infection. Too preliminary: A paper must be based on a thorough and extensive study, using proper controlsImmediate rejection criteria are: a) In vitro studies with a single dose, or very high concentration b) Single dose studies with very few animals, no dose-response studies c) No proper controls. d) Repetition or confirmation of an earlier work3. Unethical: The study must have been carried under appropriate ethical approval for the study (either animal or human).4. Inappropriate experiments or lacking essential detailImmediate rejection criteria are: a) Wrong species or lacking details on the exact number of animals/subjects used b) No details of structure if a new drug is used for the first time5. Quaternary Geochronology is an international journal devoted to the publication of the highest-quality, peer-reviewed articles on all aspects of dating methods applicable to the Quaternary Period - the last 2.6 million years of Earth history. Reliable ages are fundamental to place changes in climates, landscapes, flora and fauna - including the evolution and ecological impact of humans - in their correct temporal sequence, and to understand the tempo and mode of geological and biological processes. There is growing scientific appreciation of the complexity of the Quaternary Period. This has increased the demand on geochronological techniques to deliver increasingly more accurate and precise ages, which underpin attempts to determine the causes and consequences of events at a variety of temporal and spatial scales.Some Quaternary dating methods are well established, while others are in the early stages of development. Quaternary Geochronology will provide a readily accessible platform to rapidly communicate the latest developments and applications in these emerging fields, as well as improvements made to more traditional methods of age determination. New technological capabilities are providing a greater understanding of the underlying principles of age estimation and are stimulating innovative applications. Quaternary International is the official journal of the International Union for Quaternary Research. The objectives are to publish a high quality scientific journal under the auspices of the premier Quaternary association that reflects the interdisciplinary nature of INQUA and records recent advances in Quaternary science that appeal to a wide audience.This series will encompass all the full spectrum of the physical and natural sciences that are commonly employed in solving Quaternary problems. Radiation Measurements provides a forum for the presentation of the latest developments in the broad field of ionizing radiationdetection and measurement and publishes original papers on both fundamental and applied research.Traditionally the journal has covered methods that comprise solid state nuclear track detectors; spontaneous and stimulated luminescence (including scintillating materials, thermoluminescence, and optically stimulated luminescence); electron spin resonance of natural and synthetic materials; nuclear magnetic resonance (including ferrous sulfate and polymer gels), and superheated emulsions (including superheated drop and bubble detectors). Physics, design and performance of radiation measurements, including computational modelling such as Monte Carlo simulations, are of relevance to the journal, as well as studies of energy-transfer phenomena, track physics and microdosimetry. Measurements and calculations of fundamental physical data, such as cross sections, reaction yields and attenuation coefficients, are acceptable within studies of radiation detection and dosimetry.Applications of interest to the journal are: personal dosimetry (including dosimetric quantities, active/electronic and passive monitoring techniques for photon, neutron and charged-particle exposures); environmental dosimetry (including radon measurements where they introduce methodological advances, predictive models, or detailed and original maps of complete or unusual geographical/geological regions); cosmic and high-energy radiation measurements (including dosimetry, space radiation effects, and single event upsets); dosimetry-based archaeological and geological dating; accident and retrospective dosimetry (including activation detectors).
