European Heart Journal Open (EHJ Open) is an open access journal of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) dedicated to the entire spectrum of cardiovascular medicine, with emphasis on novel research results with the potential to improve patient care. EHJ Open is now indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals.

Our mission: to promote open and interactive cardiology for an accelerated and global sharing of science to fight cardiovascular disease.

The primary aim of the European Journal of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery is to provide a medium for the publication of high-quality original scientific reports documenting progress in cardiac and thoracic surgery. The journalpublishes reports of significant clinical and experimental advances related to surgery of the heart, the great vessels and the chest. Special emphasis is placed on contribution from the European countries. The journal is supported by a number of leading European societies.The European Journal of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery welcomes original articles, editorials, case reports, how-to-do-it reports, reviews, Imagesin cardio-thoracic Surgery, and Letters to the Editor. Papers are submitted to a peer review by the members of Editorial and Advisory Board and by other invited reviewers. The European Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing is the International Journal of the European Society of Cardiology dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in the field of cardiovascular nursing: promoting evidence-based clinical practice. The journal publishes original articles, short report reviews and editorials in order to improve the quality of nursing care for patients with cardiovascular disease. Original contributions on the broad field of cardiovascular nursing are welcome, including chronic and acute care, paediatric cardiology, grown up congenital heart disease, cardiac rehabilitation, primary and secondary prevention, heart failure, acute coronary syndromes, interventional cardiology, cardiac care, preventive cardiology, and vascular nursing.Scientific contributions can be related to all aspects of care: education, research, patient care or organisational aspects. European Journal of Endocrinology (EJE) is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes 12 issues per year in print and in online formats. Some papers in EJE may have associated charges. Please refer to the Charges section below. Once a paper is accepted, EJE will publish a precopyedited, preproofed version of the paper online within 48 hours of receiving a signed licence. This is replaced by a copyedited, proofed version of the paper as soon as it is ready. Please read these instructions carefully and follow them closely.
