The mission of Corporate Governance: An International Review is to publish cutting-edge international business research on the phenomena of comparative corporate governance throughout the global economy. Our ultimate goal is a rigorous and relevant global theory of corporate governance. We define corporate governance broadly as the exercise of power over corporate entities so as to increase the value provided to the organization's various stakeholders, as well as making those stakeholders accountable for acting responsibly with regard to the protection, generation, and distribution of wealth invested in the firm. Because of this broad conceptualization, a wide variety of academic disciplines can contribute to our understanding, and we do not limit our perspective to any one theory or methodological paradigm. Previous theory and research has been published by scholars operating from such base disciplines as accounting, economics, finance, law, management, sociology, and political science. In other words, we seek to learn about both the antecedents and effects of corporate governance practices, policies, and principles throughout the world from an interdisciplinary 'conversation'. Authors should strive to produce original, insightful, and interesting theory and research to build on previous corporate governance research or redirect research into entirely new areas, so that we move closer to a parsimonious, accurate and generalizable global theory of corporate governance. All submissions are comprehensively refereed using two or more anonymous reviewers who do not know the names or the affiliations of the submitting author(s). We see reviewing as a developmental process that aims at improving the quality of individual papers. We seek to be the publication outlet of choice for all scholars interested in reading about and publishing research on international aspects of corporate governance, as well as the knowledge center for consultants, practitioners and public policy makers engaged with corporate governance throughout the world.

Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management provides a resource for the ever increasing number of organisations concerned about social and environmental responsibilities in the context of sustainable development and are interested in developing tools and case studies to improve their performance and accountability in these areas. The focus of the journal is on research and practical advice for the development of tools, practical case studies and an assessment of the relative strengths and weaknesses of different approaches. It encourages debate over the development of issues as well as monitoring the demands being made of and by various stakeholder groups. It discusses issues of methodology, principles, practice, science, technology and law. It is a refereed journal and contributions of a high quality aimed at an interdisciplinary audience are invited.

Corpus Linguistics and Linguistic Theory is a newly founded, peer-reviewed journal publishing high-quality original corpus-based research focusing on theoretically relevant issues in all core areas of linguistic research (phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics), or other recognized topic areas.

Corrections: Policy, Practice, and Research is a peer-reviewed journal with a broad correctional focus encompassing a wide range of relevant topics and innovative approaches from new theoretical perspectives and research findings to their implications for improving policy and practice. Both national and international in scope, the journal addresses these issues and challenges as they relate to sentencing, prisons, jails, and community corrections. A wide range of topics are considered and include, but are not limited to: prisons, jails, probation and parole, inmate/client and staff experiences, reentry transition, sentencing policies and practices, the death penalty, comparative corrections, correctional treatment, decarceration, educational and vocational programming, and privatization. Preference is given to articles with defined methodologies and rigorous analyses. All research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymous refereeing by two anonymous referees.

Corrosion Engineering, Science and Technology (CEST) provides broad international coverage of research and practice in corrosion processes and corrosion control. Peer-reviewed contributions address all aspects of corrosion engineering and corrosion science; there is strong emphasis on effective design and materials selection to combat corrosion and the journal carries failure case studies to further knowledge in these areas. The scope encompasses all metallic and non-metallic materials and composites.

Corrosion Reviews is an international bimonthly journal devoted to critical reviews that are key to advancing the understanding and application of corrosion science and engineering in the service of society. Papers may be of a theoretical, experimental or practical nature, provided that they make a significant contribution to knowledge in the field. Cutting-edge topics such as corrosion of materials in energy systems, corrosion of nanomaterials, corrosion of biomaterials and medical devices, the effect of corrosion on water pollution and the environment, smart coatings, etc. are more than welcome.All articles are published in English and are peer-reviewed. Reviews may be invited either by the Editors-in-Chief or by members of the Editorial Board, which consists of leaders in the international corrosion community. In addition, unsolicited reviews may be submitted, contingent pre-approval of the outline by the Editors-in-Chief. Although the journal focuses on authoritative review articles, it also publishes high-quality original papers on subjects that are considered by the Editors to be of particular interest to our readership.Previously published by Freund Publishing House Ltd.
